Teaching
I started as a teaching and grading assistant during my bachelor's degree and master’s degree, where I marked assignments and held tutoring hours for students enrolled in introductory Economics courses. As part of these roles, I also managed the online course pages, mainly using Canvas.
As a field-based research associate in Sierra Leone, I created training materials for the research survey instrument and led training sessions with over 75 enumerators. One of my key responsibilities was to facilitate critical engagement during detailed discussions of the content of the survey instruments.
During my PhD, I created data visualization workshops using the statistical software STATA. I created the curriculum, built the code structures, and demonstrated how to create workflows that allow for efficient collaboration and easy replication. I administered these workshops at multiple occasions with beginner-level to advanced-level users of Stata. These workshops were also delivered in a hybrid format, with online participants working synchronously with in-person participants.
I also Guest Lectured at the Institute for Population and Development at Fourah Bay College, Freetown, Sierra Leone in January 2025. In a course in Development Planning, I designed and let the lecture topic: “Research in development practice: role of experimental methods”. I curated the reading list, prepared class materials, and led class discussions and activities for 28 undergraduate students
